possible locations for community complex in flagship E

After a week we made monitoring at each residential area around the flagship E,what we can expect now is there are few suitable places to serve as the location for community complex that is in the middle of residential areas of taman senai utama and new residential area at taman indahpura.

Taman Senai Utama

In our opinion, the selection of this location is compatible with the characteristics of the community complex in the taman Ungku aminah because here is the only site that was left in the middle of the residential area in Taman Senai utama.The location of this site are suitable because in the public focusing area where there are market, mini shop and two primary schools.there are also lot of factories of small and medium beside this site.

Taman Indahpura is a high-value residential area that is still under construction,and here there has many free land that can be built community complex. secondary and special schools are available here, but there are still less facilities that have not been established here.

On 21 and 22th June 2011, we as a community complex team took the opportunity for 2 days for monitoring throughout the residential areas around the flagship E. The purpose of this monitoring is to get the views of facilities available around the residential area in the flagship E. In addition we also take this opportunity to meet with the residential committee to ask them about the situation and the requirements in the residential area.

Taman aman adalah kawasan perumahan pertama yang kami lawati kerana lokasinya berada bersebelahan dengan lebuhraya senai.Kawasan taman ini berjiran dengan 2 taman lain iaitu taman dawani dan taman beringin. Disini sudah terdapat dewan serbaguna dan pusat kawalan komuniti dimana aktiviti jawatankuasa taman,polis bantuan dan rela dilakukan di sini.

Site visit for community complex

The concept of community complex and public hall that nearest to our location are built around the Kempas Baru and Larkin bus terminal.

We firstly started our journey from Geosense to the community complex which take 25 minutes where it is locate at kempas baru and the purpose for this site visit are to review the way of the designer planning the community complex. From the observations that we've made, we find that the complex community at Kempas Baru are nearest to many public facilities.

Our second trip will be heading to Larkin bus terminal where there is a public hall. There are a lot of settlement area with a big population around the public hall because of there are also located a teaching institution, schools, and a number of villages and apartments.

Video Road Tour

Happy friday everyone!

Yesterday we had a video road tour to almost three flagship of the Iskandar Malaysia region. They were flagship B, C and E. This is some information about the route we took yesterday:-

Route of the video tour

The purpose of the video tour is to have some overview and observation to our study area (manufacturing sector). We also need to understand more about the situation such us the distance fro the foreign worker to go to their workplace, facilities provided and many more. In addition, we also need to find a good and suitable location to locate the foreign worker enclave in that area.

We do take some pictures of free space.

From the journey, we understand the situation and the character of the industrial area.

So, we will combine the experience from the observation with the data available to get good decision in deciding the study area.

We still need to learn more and need guide from everyone.
