A new blog was born! ^_^

First of all this blog was owned by five members

Question: Do you know why this blog have five owners?

Answer: Because we are a team. A team of internship student in Geo Sense Sdn. Bhd. who have to do two kind of social community project given by Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA). The project is Complex Community and Foreign Worker Enclave.

Here, we will keep updating the progress of the project from start (yesterday) until the end. This project was expected to be done in about 7 to 8 weeks starting from this week. 

This is the minutes of the first meeting was done yesterday with IRDA:-

Time: 10.00 a.m to 11.00 a.m

AGENDA

1. Opening

Mrs. Suhaily start the meeting by talking about the purpose of the meeting which actually about a discussion regarding internship available short term project where possible to be done in about two month period of time.

2. Confirmation of application

Mr. Ismail confirmed that he has sent an email to do a discussion for the internship available short term project.

3. Matters arising

• Mrs. Suhaily point out her department idea where they want to locate a complex community for people use it for any function. The location must be inside of the five IRDA's flagships area.
• Mr. Abdul Rahman also gives his department's available project which is to identify the foreign worker enclave possible to be located in the area of IRDA flagship areas. The location must meet all the important parameter such as the most busiest industrial area or construction area where the most of the foreign worker population is probably the most higher.
• Mr. Shaharis are replacing his project manager to present the idea of project from his department. The idea is related to collecting information from indutsry.

4. Suggestion

• Mr. Ismail as the manager of all the internship student for Geo Sense company give his opinion on how to get the information needed for the project by using all the web internet tools and also can share all the information to others in internet web tools.

5. Reason of choosing

• Mr. Ismail  was interested to two project which is the complex community proposed by Mrs. Suhaily and the Foreign worker enclave proposed by Mr. Abdul Rahman.
• The reason is because this two project seems suitable for the internship student to work on it. The other idea of project is also good but the problem is the time constraint within the internship time period.

6. Final decision

Geo Sense agree to work on the project from IRDA and will start to plan all the work as soon as possible.

7. Other matters

Mr. AbdulRahman said that the internship student should experience new thing in working atmosphere instead of just doing what they learn in university such as operating the software. That is why the project were given to the Geo Sense's internship student which at the end they will get new experience in working environment where they can practice it later when they finish their study.

8. Next meeting

The next meeting will be inform later after the discussion among Geo Sense's manager, Mr. Ismail and all the internship student. Any problem will just contact with Mr. Saidan.
