Progress Meeting: 1 July 2011

Good evening everyone.

In this morning we had a meeting with IRDA committees. In the meeting, we had discussed the progress for the Foreign Worker Enclave and Community Complex project. Minutes of the meeting today were:

   AGENDA       

    1. Opening

       The meeting was started by discussion on the Foreign worker Enclave with Chong Khen Wei and follow by Community Complex with Mohd. Asyraf Mohd Said.

    2. Matters arising

 In this meeting, we had mention and discuss the progress for both of the project.We had also identify the issues that raise in the progress of the project and they to solve the problem. 

  3. Comments & Recommendations

Mr. Abdul Rahman had been advised us to start our report writing for both of the projects. Had been show us the way for report writting and the contents should include.

    4.   Other Matters
    
    As usual, if we need help or advices we should contact Mr. Saidan Sanib early.

    5.    Next meeting

     We decided to meet at the last 2 weeks for the time period of the project to present the 1st draft of our report.

Lecturer visit

Yesterday, Chong's and my lecturer from UTM came to visit us in Geosense Sdn. Bhd. 

The purpose of their visit is to make sure that we work in this company.

He came at about 2.30 pm with Mr. Nizam from our faculty. 

First of all he met our supervisor and talk. I don't really know what they are talking about but i guess they might talk about how we work here. =)

After then, he came to us to talk a little bit about what we were doing now in the company. We explain to him about our recent project from IRDA to give him a rough picture of our project planning.

possible locations for community complex in flagship E

After a week we made monitoring at each residential area around the flagship E,what we can expect now is there are few suitable places to serve as the location for community complex that is in the middle of residential areas of taman senai utama and new residential area at taman indahpura.

Taman Senai Utama

In our opinion, the selection of this location is compatible with the characteristics of the community complex in the taman Ungku aminah because here is the only site that was left in the middle of the residential area in Taman Senai utama.The location of this site are suitable because in the public focusing area where there are market, mini shop and two primary schools.there are also lot of factories of small and medium beside this site.

Taman Indahpura is a high-value residential area that is still under construction,and here there has many free land that can be built community complex. secondary and special schools are available here, but there are still less facilities that have not been established here.

On 21 and 22th June 2011, we as a community complex team took the opportunity for 2 days for monitoring throughout the residential areas around the flagship E. The purpose of this monitoring is to get the views of facilities available around the residential area in the flagship E. In addition we also take this opportunity to meet with the residential committee to ask them about the situation and the requirements in the residential area.

Taman aman adalah kawasan perumahan pertama yang kami lawati kerana lokasinya berada bersebelahan dengan lebuhraya senai.Kawasan taman ini berjiran dengan 2 taman lain iaitu taman dawani dan taman beringin. Disini sudah terdapat dewan serbaguna dan pusat kawalan komuniti dimana aktiviti jawatankuasa taman,polis bantuan dan rela dilakukan di sini.
